It's the end of the road for one of my favorite Litblogs, the Litblog Co-op. The LBC's mission was to highlight books overlooked by the mainstream literary press by choosing one book selection per quarter and encouraging readers to read the book and participate in on-line discussions. I read several of LBC's selections, including Firmin by Sam Savage and Television by Jean-Philippe Toussaint, both of which now rank among my favorite books.
There's a thoughtful postmortem located here.
