Literary Podcasts

There is a lot of good literary radio out there, though much of it isn't available in my city on the radio at a convenient time. Fortunately, iTunes has collected a large podcast library, and I regularly download my favorite literary programing, including the following:

  • The NYT Book Review Podcast (reviews, author interviews, commentary, bestseller news)
  • The Washington Post Book World Podcast (primarily author interviews, also local literary events)
  • The NPR Book podcast (a miscellany of book-related NPR stories)
  • Michael Silverblatt's Bookworm (extended discussions with authors)
  • Book Lust with Nancy Pearl (primarily author interviews)
