NBCC Spring Good Reads

The National Book Critics Circle recently announced its Good Reads for Spring. Beginning with last fall, the NBCC announces these lists seasonally "as an alternative to the many best sellers lists available." The Good Reads are "books being avidly read and discussed by America’s leading critics and the world’s most celebrated writers."

Certainly, the NBCC lists are a lot more "literary" than the New York Times bestseller lists, but you're not likely to find any surprises. The listed books are the literary fiction powerhouses, which is exactly what the NBCC intends them to be.
