Chabon Gets Another Award for The Yiddish Policemen's Union
The Yiddish Policemen's Union by Michael Chabon just won the 2008 Hugo Award for Best Novel. According to the website, the Hugo Awards are "science fiction's most prestigious award."

Science fiction is not the first category that comes to mind for this brilliant novel, filled with raw Yid emotion. But kudus nonetheless. And thanks for every minute I got to spend with the self-defeated Meyerle Landsman, the novel's unforgettable ptotagonist.
