Mr. Darcy as President?
Over at her website, author Jessica James polled visitors about "the literary character they think best exemplifies the qualities of a U.S. president." Atticus Finch from Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird was the clear winner with 56% of the vote. I find the runner up much more interesting (and humorous): Mr. Darcy from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
