
Yesterday, the
100 semifinalists were announced for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award (ABNA) contest. These semifinalists were chosen based on ratings from Publishers Weekly and selected reviewers. On May 15th, three finalists will be chosen by Penguin Group (USA) and will be critiqued publicly by a panel of judges. Amazon customers will then vote for the Grand Prize winner, who will receive a publishing contract with Penguin, including a $25,000 advance.
