Toni Morrison's A Mercy won this year's Tournament of Books, beating out Tom Piazza’s City of Refuge in the final championship round. All of the judges of previous rounds got a vote in the final round, and it was a tough contest. City of Refuge received 6 votes, and A Mercy received 11. A Mercy Wins Tournament of Books
Toni Morrison's A Mercy won this year's Tournament of Books, beating out Tom Piazza’s City of Refuge in the final championship round.
