Scott Esposito over at Conversational Reading (one of my favorite lit blogs), claims Robert Bolano's 2666 may be the "Big Book of BEA" (citing Chad Post at Three Percent). Although I'm not a fan of Bolano's The Savage Detectives (yes, I can admit it in print), I may try 2666. The gorgeous book design--a three-volume boxed set--is reason enough.
