Stef Penny Wins Theakston's Crime Novel of the Year Award
Stef Penny's The Tenderness of Wolves just won Theakston's Crime Novel of the Year Award. Penny is surprised by the award and says "I feel a bit of a fraud as it is only my first book, and I don't really feel like a proper crime writer." I’m surprised by the award, too, but for a different reason: The Tenderness of Wolves was first published over two years ago, making it old news in the book world.
