
Stef Penny's
The Tenderness of Wolves just won Theakston's Crime Novel of the Year Award. Penny is surprised by the award and says "I feel a bit of a fraud as it is only my first book, and I don't really feel like a proper crime writer." I’m surprised by the award, too, but for a different reason:
The Tenderness of Wolves was first published over two years ago, making it old news in the book world.
