In honor of Banned Book Week, the
Guardian has a
quiz. I scored a mediocre 7 out of 12, and I got the following commentary: "Rather ignorant, I’m afraid. You’re clearly reading in slavish obedience to the censors. Are you going to be voting for Sarah Palin?" Nice touch from a UK publication.

Sad days...I've been reading about banned books all week but scored a measly 5 out of 12. Guess I have some homework to do. And no, I won't be voting for Sarah Palin.
I got a 5 out of 12 as well. I have to admit that I did a lot of guessing. :(
That was an interesting quiz, and it taught me! I did just as badly as the rest of your: 4/12. And I resent the comparison to Palin supporters. Out of more than a hundred banned books, did the quiz maker have to pick nine I've never read? And obscure (to me) facts about the others?
Don't feel bad, Gwen. I only got 7/12. That was tough.
I got 6 right. And I work in a library.
I also got a 7 out of 12 (but sadly missed the easy / more obvious ones)...but yes, I am voting for McCain / Palin
