New Study Concludes Reading Boosts Optimism

A new study suggests that if you want to feel more optimistic, you should read more books. There’s no specificity regarding the types of books that provide this boost in optimism, however.

Reading is the chief pleasure in my life, and I wish more people would turn off the T.V. and get invested in books. I think the world could use a little more optimism.

I love yet another excuse to read--it's good for my mental health! Now if I could just be optimistic about when I might get thru my TBR pile.
