New Study Concludes Reading Boosts Optimism

There’s no specificity regarding the types of books that provide this boost in optimism, however.

Reading is the chief pleasure in my life, and I wish more people would turn off the T.V. and get invested in books. I think the world could use a little more optimism.

I love yet another excuse to read--it's good for my mental health! Now if I could just be optimistic about when I might get thru my TBR pile.
